Chrsitophe Galtier PSG Exit Just A Matter Of Official Confirmation Communique With Julian Nagelsmann Ready On The Wings To Begin New Era

Written by Olaleye Oluwadamilola

Paris Saint Germain have reportedly sacked title winning manager, Christophe Galtier according to multiple reports emerging in France although an official confirmation communique is expected from the club with German coach, Julian Nagelsamann on the wings to begin new era at the club.

More Details

The 56-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Qatari-backed club upon his appointment in July 2022, but failed to complete a single year in the French capital.

Whilst Galtier led the side to their 11th championship after a successful 2022-23 league campaign, his time at PSG was blighted by a failure to progress past the round-of-16 in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain‘s manager Christophe Galtier has been sacked after just one season at the Ligue 1 champions, as per Le Parisien although more development is expected in the coming hours.

Meanwhile…

Sergio Ramos has warned Harry Kane to not turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid following interest from Los Blancos and have been strongly linked with a move for the £100m rated striker following Karim Benzema’s decision to leave the club after 14 years to Saudi Arabia.

Manchester United are also interested in signing the England captain, though Tottenham owner Daniel Levy is reluctant to see his star player leave this summer despite the risk of losing him for nothing next year.

Former Madrid captain Ramos enjoyed 16 trophy-laden years at the Santiago Bernabeu, and the Paris Saint-Germain defender has issued a word of advice for the Tottenham star.

As per the Mirror, he said: “My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid, it is a special club who know how to win.”

“He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game but also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don’t think he gets enough credit for that.”

“Yes, he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.”

Ramos knows more than most about the power Madrid wields in the European game, having won 22 pieces of silverware during his time with the club – including five LaLiga titles and four Champions League trophies.

Kane on the other hand is still to win a trophy despite his status as one of the world’s greatest strikers and what better way to win by joining Real Madrid as the search for Benzema’s replacement goes on.
