Mudryk started for Ukraine when they earned a 1-1 draw with England, but after getting hurt in Wroclaw, he asked to be replaced in the 90th minute.

When he attempted to go past Three Lions defender Kyle Walker failed, the 22-year-old collapsed to the ground clutching his leg. Mudryk also needed medical attention in the first half after being injured by Marcus Rashford's challenge. After that, Mudryk was able to continue, but the calf injury he suffered in the second half proved to be too much for him, and he was substituted.

Chelsea already has a long list of injured players, including Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku, and Reece James. Mauricio Pochettino would suffer a new setback if Mudryk were to leave the club, despite the Ukrainian's troubles at Stamford Bridge after his pricey £88.5 million move.

The Chelsea winger has played for the west Londoners in 20 matches so far, making two assists along the way, but he has yet to score a goal for the Blues. In an effort to help Mudryk launch his Premier League career, Chelsea recently advised him to stop lifting weights and limit his additional gym visits.
