The English giants have made their interest in the Inter Milan defender known despite already submitting a bid for De Ligt.

More Details

Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has been placed on the market by the Italian club as they have to make capital gains to balance their finance for the 2021/2022 season.

The Slovakian has been identified as the easiest to replace of the club’s top players who have had bids submitted for them.

Skriniar has just a year left on his Inter Milan contract and the club has identified Torino defender Gleison Bremer as a direct replacement for the former Sampdoria man.

PSG have had their first bid for Skriniar turned down and SkySport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Chelsea have entered the race for the 27 year old.

The Blues who are interested in Juventus’ Matthijs De Ligt have also entered the race for Skriniar who they see as an alternative option to the Dutchman.

Inter are surely open to a sale at the right price with Inter Chief Guiseppe Marotta confirming that the club have received offers for their star defender.

Chelsea are yet to make a formal offer but they will definitely consider doing so soon knowing that other clubs are also interested.

Do Marzio also reported that Dybala could now be considering other options as he can’t continue waiting for Inter who have not communicated in ten days.

Inter needed to close the Lukaku deal before 30th June which made them put the Dybala talks on hold but could possibly resume talks with the Argentine’s entourage.

Inter wants Dybala’s agents to lower his demands before a deal could be struck but Di Marzio believes the outgoing Juventus man is now open to other options.

Inter have to first offload at least two strikers to make room for the arrival of Dybala but Alexis Sanchez has so far refused every offer that has come in for him as he wants to receive severance payment from Inter before he would leave.

With the arrival of Lukaku, Inter may have softened the pedal on the need to bring Dybala to the San Siro probably because of the club’s wage structure.
