After the draw for the 2023/2024 UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) group stage, Group D tends to be the toughest.

The group comprises last season’s semi-finalist and English Women’s Super League (WSL) champions, Chelsea FC, the second-best team in Spain, Real Madrid, Swedish side, BK Hacken, and giant killers, Paris FC.
Paris FC was responsible for the ouster of two semi-finalists from last season, Arsenal FC and Wolfsburg.
Holders and Spanish champions, FC Barcelona will face FC Rosengard (Sweden), SL Benfica (Portugal), and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Record Champions League winners, Lyon, Slavia Praha, St. Polten, and SK Brann.
Bayern Munich, PSG, AS Roma, and Ajax Amsterdam are in Group C.

Chelsea’s Sam Kerr remained the all-time top goal scorer in the group stage of the UWCL season.

She has scored nine goals, the same goal as Wolfsburg’s Tabea Wassmuth.
They are both closely followed by Juventus’ Cristiana Girelli who has scored eight goals.
Aitana Bonmati (FC Barcelona) and Ewa Pajor (Wolfsburg) have both scored seven goals.
