The English Football League has released the first round fixtures for the 2022/2023 Carabao Cup.

The trophy last won by Liverpool in an enthralling penalty shootout victory over Chelsea at Wembley will see some exciting first round fixtures.
All Premier League campaigners are automatically drawn to the next round while some Championship teams are there from the off.
Norwich will be the only one of the three relegated Premier League clubs to start off from the first round having finished the league season at the foot of the table.
Other Championship sides in action include West Bromwich Albion who will face Sheffield United in a clash of Championship campaigners.
Newly Promoted Sunderland will face Sheffield Wednesday whom they beat on their way to promotion to the second tier last season.
2013 champions Swansea City are another Championship side in action from the first round as they have been drawn to travel to Oxford United.
Meanwhile…
Thirteen Premier League teams who are not playing in Europe will join the tournament in the second round alongside remaining two of the three relegated teams from the top flight.
Defending champions Liverpool will enter in the third round alongside the six other European campaigners in the Premier League.
