Canadian International Joins Chelsea – Reports

With the departure of captain, Magdalena Eriksson and Pernille Harder from Chelsea at the end of the season, the Blues have agreed to sign another defender to replace its captain.

Emma Hayes’s side has agreed to sign Canadian defender, Ashley Lawrence from French D1 Arkema side, PSG according to Evening Standard.
Lawrence is a free agent after the expiration of her contract with PSG this summer.
The player is a replacement for Eriksson who will join Bayern Munich alongside Harder.
The London side is also close to signing Catarina Macario from Lyon as a replacement for Harder.
Lawrence will be the third signing of the summer after Sjoeke Nusken joined on a three-year deal from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Belgian goalie, Nicky Evrard is also expected to arrive the team from Leuven on a three-year deal.
Meanwhile…
Apart from Lawrence, four players will be leaving PSG at the end of the season.

The departures include Kheira Hamraoui, Sarah Bouhaddi, Marina Georgieva, and Berglind Björg Thorvalsdottir.
Swiss player, Ramona Bachmann is expected to stay at the capital club.
The team is still negotiating deals with Amanda Ilestedt and Li Mengwen.
Levante defender Viola Calligaris is also close to joining the club.
