Bundesliga, Premier League With Most Representatives As Champions League Enters Knockout Phase

The Bundesliga are not being left behind in the rankings of top leagues in Europe as their teams participating in Europe’s premier club competition all qualified to the next round.

Bayern Munich qualified with a one hundred percent record as they won all their matches in a group that has Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Borussia Dortmund consolidated their passage into the next round with a draw in Denmark on Wednesday night to finish on nine points behind Manchester City.
Eintracht Frankfurt won on the last day in Lisbon to seal qualification with ten points while RB Leipzig qualified behind Real Madrid with twelve points.
The Premier League also has all of its four representatives advance to the next phase with Chelsea and Manchester City toping their groups.
Liverpool finished on the same points with Napoli but with an inferior goals return while Tottenham Hotspur with a last gasp victory over Marseille in France also toppled their group.

The Italian Sere A is the third most represented league in the knockouts with three teams passing onto the next phase of the tournament.
Napoli scored a record breaking twenty group stage goals to win the group over Liverpool and Ajax Amsterdam.

Inter Milan for the second consecutive season made the knockouts from the “group of death” behind Bayern Munich.
Italian champions AC Milan had to wait until the last day to seal their passage with a comprehensive 4-0 demolition of Salzburg.
The French Ligue 1 has PSG who qualified behind Primera Liga’s Benfica as sole representative while the Belgian Jupiler League is well represented by Club Brugge.
FC Porto is the other of the Portuguese league representative with the two time winners also coming top of their group.
