Brighton have been really magnificent this season even when they changed from Graham Potter, who left the club to joi Chelsea, to Roberto De Zerbi, they didn’t miss a step, in fact, it looked like they actually took it a step higher.

And in the transfer market, they were very much assured as they beat off the interest of Arsenal in their star midfielder, Moises Caicedo during the January transfer window. It looks like these moves is now starting to pay off for the club as they’re now attracting some of the best players available for transfer.
Few days ago, it was reported that Liverpool midfielder, James Milner will be joining the club in June ahead of next season and the Seagulls have now followed it up with another capture of a free agent.

According to Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, German midfielder, Mohammed Dahoud has completed his medical in London and is ready to hammer out the details of a new contract with Brighton & Hove Albion. Once the move is completed, he will be joining them on a free transfer in the summer.
The 27-years old due to injuries and inconsistency has been unable to stake a claim for a regular spot with Dortmund. In his six seasons with BVB, he has averaged less than 1,000 minutes per season in Bundesliga competitions.
This trend reached a head this season, in which, even despite Dortmund’s various injuries and lack of depth in midfield, Dahoud has played less than 400 minutes. For reasons we can only speculate, Dahoud has completely fallen out of favor with Edin Terzic, the current coach of the team.
When reports of his availability started floating around, Italian side, Juventus were said to be highly interested since he would be available on a free transfer. But it looks like the uncertainty surrounding the Bianconeri may have turned him off or they didn’t come across as a good project for him.
As he approaches his 30s, he only has a few more years of his prime remaining. It makes sense that he wouldn’t want to spend those years wasting away on the bench in Dortmund or at any other club where everything is not in place.
In Brighton he could play for a very well-run Premier League club and presumably play first-squad minutes and also get to work with the great De Zerbi who can help him resurrect his career.

Barcelona look set to challenge EPL side, Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Villarreal defender, Juan Foyth in the summer as the Yellow Submarines look to make a fortune from his sales.

Like Spurs, the Blaugrana have been tracking the Argentinian international for his versatility to play at full back and in central defence. While Tottenham are willing to go as high as €50 million for the player, Barcelona are willing to include midfielder Nico Gonzalez as part of a deal to bring Foyth to the Camp Nou.
Villarreal have stood firm on Foyth’s €54m release clause at the club, but the inclusion of Gonzalez, would lower that by around €20m, giving the current Spanish League leaders the advantage unless Spurs can meet hos release clause, but it would depend on whom they appoint as their new coach for next season and his preferences.
