Scottish side, Hibernian Women has announced the signing of goalkeeper Benne Håland who has signed from Serie A side Hellas Verona Women.
Benne, 24, is a talented young keeper who already has experience playing in England (Bristol City Women) and Italy (Hellas Verona Women).
She has also been capped at under-17 and under-19 levels for Norway.
With regards to the move, Benne said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Hibernian this season. Woman’s football in Scotland has an exciting future in sight and I’m delighted to be part of it.

“I’m eager to meet all the girls and staff and hope I can make a difference for Hibs when we start the new season.”
Hibernian finished the 2021/2022 Scottish Women’s Premier League 1 (SWPL 1) season in the fourth position with 43 points from 27 games, 23 points, and two places below UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) places.
Hibernian Women has also confirmed that Gabby English has formally announced her retirement from football.

The American goalkeeper has called time on her playing career after spending a year in the capital, joining the club from Orlando Pride last summer.
A dominant and commanding presence in the box, English quickly became a popular member of the dressing room, striking up a positive relationship with the Hibs Women supporters.
English calls time on her career having made 26 appearances in all competitions for Hibs, keeping 12 clean sheets in the process.
