Bayern to move for Aarons

Bayern Munich have reportedly turned their attention towards Norwich City’s Max Aarons after it appeared that they lost out in the race to sign Sergino Dest from Ajax.

The 19-year American has been a target for the Bavarians for some time now as they look to beef up the tight back position of their first team. Benjamin Pavard will be the main option for the right back role as the club plans to play Germany international, Joshua Kimmich mostly in midfield for the 2020/21 season.

Bayern’s bid for Dest had been rivaled by Barcelona for some time now with the Spanish club looking to revolutionize its first team for the new season. While Hans-Flick’s team would likely be offering Dest a backup role in the squad, Barcelona would be willing to offer the United States international a starting role in the team after the departure of Nelson Semedo to Wolverhampton Wanderers last week.

A deal with between Barcelona and Ajax is reportedly close to completion and Bayern Munich have shifted their sights towards 20-year old Aarons who had been penned down as an alternative to Dest.

The club is now hoping to finalize a move for 21-year old France under-20 midfielder, Michael Cuisance who is currently the subject of negotiations with English club side, Leeds United before making an official bid to Norwich City for Aarons.
