Bayer Leverkusen had shown interest in the former Schalke 04 defender, but the club’s interest was quickly rebuffed by the player as he prefers to move to a club that will be participating in the Champions League this season.

Bayern Munich had shown interest in Kehrer last summer as former manager, Hansi Flick, considered him good enough to add quality to the team, however, the club’s hierarchy were against the move because they felt that the club was covered in that department.

Thilo Kehrer has been at PSG since 2018, he has appeared in 97 games for the Parisiens, contributing two goals and two assists in that time.
