Bayern Munich Director Denies Interest In Cristiano Ronaldo

The 37 year old hd an outstanding season individually last term but couldn’t help Manchester United finish above sixth place despite scoring eighteen times in the league.
Bayern Munich by extension are on the verge of losing their focal point in attack as Robert Lewandowski has been pushing for a move to Barcelona since the beginning of the summer.
The Bavarians could have landed Sadio Mane from Liverpool but the media believes they’ll still need a new striker should Lewandowski force a move away from the club.
Contrary to reports, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has however denied interest in Ronaldo while praising the Portuguese as a “top player” who has had an outstanding career.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is a top player who has had an outstanding career,” Salihamidzic told Sky Sport Germany. “However, the rumour that is circulating is a rumour that has no truth to it.”
Though, Ronaldo hasn’t given any signals as to whether he’s unhappy at Old Trafford with new coach Erik Ten Hag staying clearly on arrival that he’s willing to work with the five time Ballon d’Or winner.
Trevor Sinclair has questioned why Cristiano Ronaldo would want to remain at Manchester United due to the club’s inactivity in the transfer market.

Ronaldo returned to United last season and signed a two year deal but is now reconsidering his future after the signs being shown by the club indicates that they’re not ready to compete.
Sinclair reckons the Portuguese superstar would not want to spend another of his twilight years winning nothing and says it would be best for the 37 year old to change clubs.

He told talkSPORT Breakfast: “Manchester United want to keep Ronaldo, Ten Hag wants to work with him, but at the moment Ronaldo is looking at the squad and thinking, ‘why would I want to stay?’
“This squad is not going to get anywhere near the top four.
“He’s not going to join a club bigger than Manchester United, but what he will do is score goals wherever he goes.
“This might be the year where he says, ‘You know what, I’ve loved running the show in European football for the last 20 years, I might want to go over to America and enjoy my life’.
“I’m not saying that is the case, but why would you want to be at Manchester United with the current squad they’ve got, fighting against top, top teams and getting beat left, right and centre?
“I don’t think Ronaldo wants another year like that, and I think he’s right to be agitated and putting a bit of pressure on Manchester United.”
Ronaldo could possibly be playing in a different team next term is Manchester United do not improve their fortunes in the coming weeks.
