Barcelona Plunged In Joao Cancelo’s Permanent Transfer Dilemma As Real Madrid Monitor Leroy Sane’s Bayern Munich Contract Situation

Barcelona are willing to Joao Cancelo’s loan deal permanent but they Catalan giant who are currently in a not so good financial state are not ready to meet up with Manchester City’s demand for the Portuguese right back coupled with keeping hold of Joao Felix whose deal deal looks difficult due to Atletico’s demands.
More Details
Barcelona are reportedly determined to sign Joao Cancelo permanently from Manchester City next year after securing the services of the Portuguese full-back on loan for the season on deadline day back in September after Bayern Munich opted against signing the 29-year-old permanently for £61.6million following his loan spell.
With Xavi Hernandez’s side keen on Felix and Joao, signing Cancelo on the face of it appears much more feasible given he is six years older and approaching the end of his prime in all likelihood. Yet the two clubs are still some way off in terms of their valuations.
But their loss has definitely been Barcelona’s gain with Cancelo quickly becoming an important figure in Xavi‘s team as first-choice right-back and ccording to Football Espana, Barcelona are already working out a proposal for City who want around £44m for Cancelo although with £22m up front and the balance spread over three years.
As per Sport, Manchester City value him at €50m, although they are willing to lower the price. However Barcelona do not believe they will get close to the permanent deal demands and would rather go for another loan deal. Yet Pep Guardiola’s side are only open to another loan deal if it includes an obligatory buy option in excess of €35m.
Much could depend on Cancelo’s feelings at the end of the campaign as to whether Barcelona pursue the deal and whether any other offers come in.
Meanwhile…
With Leroy Sane’s contract set to expire wit Bayern Munich in 2025 and yet no sign of an extension although the player is focusing on his future at Germany, Barcelona and Real Madrid are hoping that they can snatch him away from the German champions next summer.
The 27-year-old has been in outstanding form for Bayern Munich so far this season, but given that his contract at the club expires in 2025, and that he isn’t close to agreeing a new deal, he could be available on a cut-price deal.

Sport say that Sane is refusing to close the door on a departure from Bayern, which will keep Barcelona and also Real Madrid very interested. Los Blancos have also been linked with the German international is recent weeks, and he could arrive to improve their already-impressive haul of attackers.
