Just when Barcelona thought that they had put the chaos of the transfer market behind them and ready to focus their attention on the pitch, the club now have one more major issue to deal with.

Spanish newspaper, El Mundo released several messages between Spanish FA President Luis Rubiales and Gerard Pique and started making emails between Barcelona and players public today, under the tag Barcaleaks.

The newspaper claim that it is part of the ongoing BarcaGate court case against former President Josep Maria Bartomeu.
After their latest leak on Messi’s contract demands to the club in 2020, Barcelona have now released their own statement, that the release of the documentation is “an attack on the reputation and confidentiality of the club.”
As such, they are now studying legal action against El Mundo.

Asensio’s recent statement, when asked on his possible renewal seem to suggest that he would like to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu; “Renewing at Real Madrid does not depend on me, it depends on many factors. I hope it can happen.” The player said.
