Atlético Madrid went to town on Rayo Vallecano recording their biggest ever away win in LaLiga with a 0-7 thumping of the host to continue their perfect start run to the season.

Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid scored four times in 13 second-half minutes to thump Rayo Vallecano 7-0 away from home and move second in the LaLiga table.

The visitors were 3-0 up inside 36 minutes as goals from Antoine Griezmann, Memphis Depay and Nahuel Molina effectively ended the game as a contest against Rayo, who had previously won their opening two games of the season.
