Arsenal have officially terminated the contract of Armenian international forward, Henrikh Mkhitaryan according to a statement on the club’s website.
The contract termination allows 31-year old Mkhitaryan to join Italian Serie A club, AS Roma – where he spent last season on loan – permanently.
“Micki leaves us following his season-long loan in Italy. We have agreed to terminate his contract with us by mutual consent to allow him to join Roma in a permanent move.” The statement read.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United player is now expected to be announced as a Roma player in the coming days.
