The third and fifth placed team in Serie A come face to face on Monday evening with Roma in one of the best forms of their season under former Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho.

Napoli are two time Serie A champions both of which were inspired by the late Diego Armando Maradona who passed away two years to glowing tributes from Napolitans.

Jose Mourinho was friends with the late icon who featured for Napoli between 1984 and 1991 where he scored 115 goals in 259 appearances winning two Serie A titles and a UEFA Cup for the Azzurri.

Fans around watched as the Portuguese manager dropped his flowers while seeing other tributes on the ground.

Roma take on Napoli later on Monday evening as they continue their push for a Champions League spot. A victory will see them move to within three points of Juventus in fourth.

Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi who is on loan at Sampdoria until the end of the season could be headed back to Sassuolo at the end of the current campaign.

The 26 year old midfielder joined Inter from Sassuolo in 2019 and has been blighted by injuries since his move to San Siro in the summer of 2019.

Sensi when fit is one of the best in the league in his position but his persistent injuries are what is frustrating the league champions and seeking for a move away from Milan for the Urbino born midfielder.
