Palmeiras has agreed to hire striker Amanda Gutierres, formerly of French D1 Arkema side, Bordeaux-FRA.

The athlete is the first reinforcement of alviverde women’s football for the 2023 season.

Born in Querência do Norte-PR, the striker is 21 years old and has played in French football for the last two seasons.

The player’s history with the sport began in childhood, with futsal being her first passion.

On the field, Amanda had a similar story to the vast majority of women’s soccer athletes and played with the boys.

The paranaense has passages through the following clubs: Vila Guarani-SP (2016), União Suzano-SP (2017), Embu das Artes-SP (2018), Foz Cataratas-PR (2018), Santos-SP (2018 to 2021) and Bordeaux-FRA (2021 and 2022).

In the Santos team, she was champion of the Copa Paulista (2020), where she was the top scorer in the competition with five goals (an average of 1.25 goals per match) and also provided five assists.
