Palmeiras has agreed to hire striker Amanda Gutierres, formerly of French D1 Arkema side, Bordeaux-FRA.
The athlete is the first reinforcement of alviverde women’s football for the 2023 season.
Born in Querência do Norte-PR, the striker is 21 years old and has played in French football for the last two seasons.
The player’s history with the sport began in childhood, with futsal being her first passion.
On the field, Amanda had a similar story to the vast majority of women’s soccer athletes and played with the boys.

The paranaense has passages through the following clubs: Vila Guarani-SP (2016), União Suzano-SP (2017), Embu das Artes-SP (2018), Foz Cataratas-PR (2018), Santos-SP (2018 to 2021) and Bordeaux-FRA (2021 and 2022).
In the Santos team, she was champion of the Copa Paulista (2020), where she was the top scorer in the competition with five goals (an average of 1.25 goals per match) and also provided five assists.
Amanda, who is a declared fan of Marta and Cristiano Ronaldo, also had outstanding performances in her youth that led her to be called up by the Brazilian Under-17 team.
In the last three years playing in Brazil, the striker played 77 games and scored 37 goals – 65 games and 21 goals for the Santos main team, 10 games and 16 goals for the U-18 squad, and two matches for the U-17 squad without having scored tries.
One of the highlights of the Palmeiras women’s team in 2022, right-back Poliana arrived at the club in August of this year and did not take long to fall in love with the Palmeiras fans.

With outstanding performances that helped the club win the CONMEBOL Libertadores Feminina and the Paulista Feminino, the athlete projects another victorious season in 2023.
At the age of 31, the girl from Ituiutaba started her career in Rio Preto, in 2008, passed through Santos in 2009, and, in the following year, joined the squad of São José.
In the traditional women’s team, Poliana was crowned Libertadores champion in 2011, 2013, and 2014.
The fourth title took place in 2021, playing for Corinthians, and the fifth came precisely at Alviverde on October 28 of this year – at the opportunity, she became the player with the most continental competition titles in the history of women’s football.
