Alexis Sanchez close to permanent Inter stay

Alexis Sanchez is getting closer to Inter if latest reports coming out of Italy are anything to go by.
The Chilean who is currently on loan at Inter from Manchester United looks like he has rediscovered his touch since recovering from an early-season injury. The 31-year old forward in a recent interview with UEFA.com had described his newly found ease of life in Italy as “falling in love with football again” and he is doing everything within his power to keep the feeling.
Nico Schira of La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Inter and Manchester United are currently negotiating final details in a move that will see the Italian club pay the English club a fee of around €15m to make the player’s move permanent.
Inter had wanted to extend the player’s loan to cover for the duration of the Europa League but it was reported that Man United refused the offer as they were still participating in the same tournament and would not want to do one of their rivals any favour. The Nerazzurri have therefore decided to purchase the player outright and have reportedly agreed a three-year deal with the Chilean.
Earlier today, Inter released its official squad list for the UEFA Europa League knockout stages with Alexis Sanchez included leading many to believe that an agreement had been reached between both clubs.
Alexis Sanchez has been in fine form for Inter this season, especially since the league restart with four goals and eight assists in the league in twenty-two appearances.
