It’s been reported on Tuesday that Kounde is open to a move in the summer transfer window because he’s not too happy playing at right-back.

Kounde has spent the majority of the season on the flank and has apparently told Xavi that he’s willing to listen any offers that arrive.

Alemany was asked about the rumors ahead of Barcelona’s clash with Real Valladolid and offered up the following response.

According to multiple reports from Samuel Marsden, Mateu Alemany is not doing much to knock back Toni Juanmartí story that Kounde is open to leaving club due to dislike of playing at right-back. “Internal situations that we resolve internally,” Alemany said when asked about it on DAZN now

There have been whispers since that Barca could be willing to offload Kounde but only if a huge offer arrives for the former Sevilla man.

It’s not clear if any clubs are willing to stump up that much for Kounde, but we do know that Barca need to make a big sale this summer and the Frenchman doesn’t want to play right-back next season.

Robert Lewandowski has been chatting about the recent conversation he had with Lionel Messi at the Laureus Sports Awards.

The Poland international says the two were talking about Barcelona and made it clear just how happy the PSG forward was to talk about his home.

“Keep it a secret, but when I told him about Barcelona his eyes lit up. And it’s not surprising, after all, he grew up here, he has a house here that he visits often. Barcelona is his home,” he said.

Barcelona are still hoping to be able to bring Messi back this summer, and Lewandowski thinks it would be a great idea.
