The legend is set to leave the club following a broken relationship as evident in the meeting on Monday morning.
More Details
Paolo Maldini met with club owner Gerry Cardinale on Monday morning and Gazzetta reports that it was a tense dialogue.
The club legend will most likely leave the club with Ricky Massara joining him in taking the exit.
@AntoVitiello also reports that a separation is the most likely occurrence given that both parties have different ideas about the project.
Nicolo Schira however reports that Cardinale has reached the decision to sack both Maldini and Massara.
54 year old Maldini returned to Milan in 2018 in a director role but will now depart his boyhood club after helping them to the Scudetto in 2022.
Meanwhile…
AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham could be out for up to four months of action.
The Englishman suffered a knee injury in their last game of the season where they won 2-1 against Spezia.

Such injuries are said to take between three to four months to heal.
The 25 year old had been speculated to be considering a move away from the capital club before the unfortunate incident.
