DONE DEAL: Marseille sign Nagatomo

Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC Sport reports that Olympique Marseille have signed Japanese international full back, Yuri Nagatomo on a free transfer.

The 33-year old left Galatasaray as a free agent at the end of last season after spending two and a half seasons at the club which saw him the Turkish Super Lig on two occasions, the Turkish Cup once and the Turkish Super cup once.

He will join the French club on a one year deal and will act as back up for Marseille first choice left back, Jordan Amavi. The Japanese is expected to fly in tomorrow for his medicals.

Nagatomo will join Olympique Marseille having amasse a lot of experience in Europe from Italian Serie A sides, Cesena and more notably, Inter Milan where he spent seven years and appeared in 170 league matches for the club, winning the Coppa Italia once in that period.
